Alexandra believes that exercise is a key piece of the puzzle when it comes to mental, physical, and emotional health. Not only does it help us deal with our health and stress issues, it gives us emotional confidence on the inside and out. Read about her intro into fitness. “My passion is to help people of all walks of life and health experience exercise on a very personal level. I opened Personal Level Fitness for the following reasons: 1. to help people who have a difficult time exercising on their own get help and accomplish their goals 2. to teach people how to lose weight and keep it off 3. to take a current training program to the next level 4. to teach people how to eat correctly and live a healthy lifestyle” “Each client should be treated as an individual and not as a number so that they get the results that work best for their bodies. My intent for our clients is that they get the absolute best one-on-one, personal training in a clean, upbeat, and encouraging environment. One key to achieving mental and physical health is the training environment itself. I believe that a fitness trainer should be motivating to the client while at the same time keeping the atmosphere fun, uplifting, and inspiring. I love to see my clients reach their goals and full potential while getting them well on their way to a happier, healthier lifestyle.”

Mary Calov

B.A. Exercise and Sport Studies

N.S.C.A. Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach

Mary believes that everyone should be given the chance to fall in love with fitness training.  If you can make your training enjoyable along with the nutrition, then you will see positive results.  Fitness training will also affect your overall well-being as a person and make a positive effect in every area of your life.  Mary’s intent when training is to make the workout challenging and get the client to their goals!  The client should work as hard as possible and stay positively self-motivated to reach their goals.

The goal of fitness training, in general, is to make sure you live a long, healthy life.  When you live without risk factors, you can do more things and live a better quality of life.  Such as: traveling, seeing grand kids and keeping your independence.

Mary likes the training environment to be full of positive trainers that are challenging clients to the best of their abilities while still having fun!  The result should be – release the negativity and turn it into a positive result!!!

Tim Stephens

B.S. Exercise Physiology

A.C.S.M. Certified Personal Trainer

Tim believes that fitness training is the essential building block for a healthy lifestyle.  His intent while training clients is to provide the proper essentials for their success.  The client’s intent when training is to learn and maintain a healthier and more active lifestyle.  When that progress is steady and consistent, the client will always see results.

Tim believes the overall goal of fitness training is to promote a healthier lifestyle through aerobic and anaerobic exercises as well as proper nutrition. The training environment should be inviting, friendly, and motivational.  The programs need to be created in an orderly and effective fashion to keep the body from hitting plateaus.  The “end result” of each session or program should show the client achieving their individual goals.  Having success always makes the client more comfortable and confident with themselves which creates enthusiasm to set new goals!

Eric Van Cleave

B.S. Human Biology Emphasis in Exercise Science

A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer

Eric believes that fitness training is for anyone and everyone.  It takes effort and discipline, but can improve your way of life.  His intent while training is to change an individual’s perspective on fitness.  He likes to help improve movement efficiency and functionality!  By improving these two areas, it makes training more successful. Eric wants to leave an imprint on every individual to help them reach their own successes!  He believes the client’s intent should be to show up, listen, and work hard.

In general, the goal of fitness training is to achieve specific goals for the clients.  The goal is not what the fitness coach wants, but what the client seeks for themselves.  The training environment should be a comfortable work-zone.  This area is a place for clients to take pride on improving goals for their future success stories.  The end result that Eric would like to see is a client is being able to look themselves in the mirror and feel the greatest satisfaction of their hard work and efforts.

Callie Durdel

Exercise Science B.S.  Heidelberg University

TRX Certified

A.C.S.M. Certified Personal Trainer

Callie believes that fitness training can benefit anyone who is willing to put in the time and work.  The end results for each individual will be worth it.  Her intent when training clients is to make it fun and help them want to choose fitness as a lifestyle.  The client’s intent should always be to find a challenging goal and bring it with them to complete during each session.  Once that goal is completed, the client should look beyond that and keep moving forward to another goal.

The goal of fitness training should make clients feel better both mentally and physically.  Making a habit of this feeling and using it to have better quality of life is always an end goal.  The training environment should be comfortable and friendly as well as a safe place to go and feel secure.  The environment should help clients let go of negativity and learn to feel secure in their own bodies.

Callie likes to see clients overcome a challenge/goal and feel like they have gained something positive during each and every session.  She likes to see them believe in themselves as much as she believes in them.
